ESaaS - Managed Elasticsearch services (DEPRECATED)
Managed Elasticsearch has been replaced on July 2022 by Managed Databases / Opensearch.
Elasticsearch has updated recently its licensing model, pushing us to move to Opensearch stack, which is fully open source. The technical stack is quite similar. Kibana is now Opensearch-dashboard, and Elasticsearch is Opensearch.
Also, we got good feedbacks about the model: having a managed databases ready to use with enterprise features such as observability and security. That’s why we have decided to launch a larger service offer DBAAS. Managed Databases provides of course Opensearch but also relational and non-relational database.

Service Description
Elasticsearch is often used to analyze semi-structured data. The indexation provides fast searching with a minimal parsing. Kibana is the front end that facilitate the usage of elasticsearch.
TDP Elasticsearch provides a secured and managed services:
- Best in class cloud security mechanisms: Azure Active Directory Integration, RBAC, Encryption at rest with Thales Managed keys, Firewall pre-configured
- Managed services: Continuous improvements (minor upgrades every 3 weeks), Major upgrades, backup, SLA provided
- Monitoring: Prometheus integration & security based on CSOC business rules.
